There is joy in these pants! In the form of topstitching, bar tacks, darts, all the pockets… 😍 I couldn’t put them down once I started sewing. Finished at 3 am and was so excited about the whole process that I couldn’t sleep. At all. I’ll be crashing at some point.

I had a professional shop critique thanks to my membership with @goimagine.life. I was expecting the absolute worst, but her feedback was SO POSITIVE. 😅 It definitely made me feel like I’m in the right track.

She did say that the only garment that didn’t seem to “fit in” was my Daisy Chain Top. And she was right. It was missing a sporty quality that everything else has. So… I reworked them all and added grommets and a drawstring hem. Good gracious! What a difference!

I also added coordinating shorts to the shop because sometimes I’m a sucker for matched sets. 😂 I absolutely love these shorts! I’ll have them with me at tomorrow’s pop up at @sweetwaterbrew.

All of my making this week has been focused in this custom vest… my first truly bespoke commission. I met it’s buyer at a vendor fair a few weeks ago and he caught me off guard when he flagged me down. I thought I was in trouble. 😂 The scariest moment was when I heard myself agree to take on a custom job.

All-in-all, I think I have 10-12 hours out into this beauty and I think it turned out even better than expected. I hope it’s new owner feels the same way and that it’s treasured for years to come!

Sharing the last of my **current** Sunnyside Sweater collection. This is the banded crop version. It was originally one of my projector causalities, but I ripped it apart and recut the whole thing. I was not about to waste that gorgeous quilted knit from @surgefabricshop.
